Sonja Lenore Haaby Started Her New Professional Journey In 2007 By Joining A Local CPA Firm

An alumnus of Linfield College, Sonja Lenore Haaby a Bachelor of Science Degree holder in Accounting and has also completed a certificate course in Human Resource Management. She started her professional journey in positions such as a branch manager and a financial specialist. Even though she had an extensive career in banking and finance, she was courageous enough to give it away and follow her passion in accounting by pursuing a career in public accounting.

Sonja Lenore Haaby’s new journey began as she joined a local CPA firm in the tear 2007. Thanks to her vivid education, strong financial background, and exceptional problem-solving skills, Sonja can assist her personal as well as business clients with all their financial tax planning needs efficiently. She works with the goal of minimizing liability in current and future tax years for her clients. Some of the ways in which she does so include deciding whether to file jointly and separately, timing the sale of an asset, identifying applicable deductions, tax & education planning, and more. She works with the desire of removing the stress from her clients’ life so that they can focus on their daily life without having to worry about their financial matters. Sonja also helps her clients with back tax negotiations, tax penalty abatement, IRS notices, payment plans, tax audits, and more.

It is because of her passion for family and to be a part of and contribute to the community, Sonja Lenore Haaby makes sure she takes put enough time to play an active role with several organizations including the Leadership Redmond team, Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer Connect and Eagle Mountain. As an active member of these organizations, she volunteers a lot of her time to community outreach fundraising events, training, coaching, and mentoring others.
