An Overview of Sonja Lenore Haaby’s Professional Journey So Far

Sonja Lenore Haaby is an alumnus of Linfield College. She completed her Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting followed by a certificate course in Human Resource Management. After a few years of working in respectable roles such as those of a branch manager and a financial specialist, she said goodbye to her extensive career in banking and finance to follow her passion in accounting. Nothing else has ever made her feel happier than the day she chose to pursue a career in public accounting.

Sonja L Haaby comes from a decent educational and financial background, and has excellent problem-solving skills. Sonja began her career in public accounting more than 10 years ago with a local CPA firm where she used to assist her personal as well as business clients with all their financial tax planning needs. She went on to join Alliance Professionals, LLP a few years later as a staff accountant. At present, Sonja is a part of the Leadership Redmond team, active Chamber member, and board member of Volunteer Connect and Eagle Mountain Fellowship. Needless to say, she volunteers most of her time to community outreach fundraising events, training, coaching, and mentoring others.

As far as her personal life is concerned, Sonja Lenore Haaby has a very close-knit, loving, and musically inclined family. The qualities such as love and integrity were imbibed into her by her mother while her father instilled the importance of hard work, treating others with kindness and respect. In addition to being an avid golf player, Sonja also enjoys bike riding, hiking, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.

She went on to set up her own company by the name Haaby and Associates, LLC in the year 2018 to help her clients deal with matters such as tax preparation, tax resolution, and tax planning efficiently.
