Sonja Lenore Haaby is a strong financial specialist who has received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Linfield College. She started her professional journey in 1998 with the U.S. Bank as a Branch Manager, Universal Banker & Licensed Banker. Following her passion in accounting and pursuing her public accounting career, she joined Alliance Professionals, LLP as a staff accountant in 2013 and worked here for 3 years making the best use of her education, financial background, and problem solving skills.
Fulfilling her responsibilities in this role, Sonja Lenore Haaby was accountable for completing personal, business, and estate returns in an accurate and time efficient manner. She was also responsible for communicating with clients and bookkeepers, providing knowledgeable tax information and obtaining required financial data to complete clients’ returns. Her working knowledge of software programs such as Quick Books, Creative Solutions and Lacerte helped her quite a lot in performing tasks such as balancing owner’s equity, retaining earnings accounts along with preparing journal entries for tax returns, assembling client audit files, performing office administration duties, reviewing and processing payroll, assisting in various audits for governmental agencies including single audits, and more.
Sonja Lenore Haaby understands that keeping up with complex rules and regulations, crunching numbers, and looking through financial records and receipts can be a drain on any professional’s time, energy, and sanity. She started her own company Haaby & Associates, Inc in the year 2018 in an attempt to provide optimal accounting solutions that enable her clients to put all their energy into what matters most, enjoying life while Sonja handles all of your income tax matters including tax preparation, tax resolution and tax planning.
When not working, Sonja enjoys spending her time with her family, going on mountain bike rides, hiking, and doing other such outdoor activities.
